Job Summary of Produce Team Member:

The position of a Produce Team Member at Winn-Dixie requires active participation in fostering an enticing shopping environment for patrons. Duties involve cordially greeting, aiding, and appreciating customers, proffering advice on merchandise, and verifying the freshness and sufficient stock of produce goods. Operating department equipment securely and maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in the work area are also key responsibilities, along with ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards. Positions are open for immediate hiring.

Responsibilities of Produce Team Member:

• Ensure ongoing awareness of customer needs by greeting, aiding, and appreciating them promptly and courteously.
• Provide product recommendations to customers that align with their requirements.
• Keep produce items fresh and meeting quality requirements through the consistent rotation of stock
• Safely and proficiently utilize equipment and tools within the department.
• Ensure the work area is tidy and hazard-free to promote a safe environment.
• Report to management any incidents involving team member dishonesty, shoplifting by customers, unauthorized price reductions, vandalism of company assets, or any actions deemed illegal or in violation of company regulations.
• Fulfill any other job responsibilities given.

Qualifications of Produce Team Member:

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.
• Ability to understand and follow English instructions.
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check.
