Job Summary:

Tasked with providing exceptional customer service, organizing displays effectively, and keeping the sales floor orderly and safe, the Sales Advisor contributes significantly to creating a positive and enjoyable shopping experience for customers.

Essential Functions, Job Duties, and Key Responsibilities:

• Provides exceptional member support through friendly greetings, prompt assistance, and expressions of gratitude. Resolves member issues promptly and escalates to management when needed.
• Demonstrates a firm understanding of merchandise protection procedures and protocols related to shrink alert incidents.
• Regularly updates and reviews the AP Alert Binder to adhere to AP guidelines.
• Follow the most efficient protocols, which involve examining the items located at the base of the cart, handling electronics with care, utilizing self-checkout features, and thanking the member for their support. Ensure that the products match the receipts at the register and authenticate valuable items. Keep a record of any irregularities in the receipts and notify the front line staff immediately to rectify the issue.
• The implementation of audits on Express Pay, BOPIC, Curbside Pick-up, and Same Day Delivery aligns with the company's established processes.
• Ensure the conformance to repack awareness standards by assessing identified repack items.
• Pay close attention to the comings and goings of individuals at the club, making sure to oversee member and visitor traffic effectively
• Abides by prescribed Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) alarm response measures.
• Enforces high safety standards to safeguard both team members and individuals.
• Reviews the bags, backpacks, briefcases, and lunch boxes of individuals leaving the building as a security measure.
• Oversees the protocol for members to utilize vouchers for empty water jug returns.
• Adheres to the club's policies and procedures at all times.
• Completes other tasks as allocated, including assisting in other sectors as the situation demands.
• Being present on a regular, consistent basis is a key expectation for this role.

Qualifications:

• The position calls for exceptional people skills and a commitment to accuracy.
• Possessing rudimentary math skills is favored.
• Aptitude in using a smart mobile device effectively.
• Successful participation in the mandated training and certification processes is necessary.
• Job seekers are expected to meet the prerequisite of a six-month employment duration with the organization.
• Must be of legal age, which is 18 years.

Environmental Job Conditions:

• Much of the time is occupied by being on one's feet and in motion on unyielding surfaces.
• Activities such as bending, pulling, reaching, stooping, and using ladders/step stools may be part of the job duties.
• There may be instances where lifting items up to 30 pounds is necessary.
• Dealing with indoor and outdoor temperatures simultaneously.
