The Closer plays a vital role in assisting store management by upholding food safety and sanitation guidelines, controlling expenditures, and supervising tasks associated with inventory management and product arrangement.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Store Supervisor:

• Assume full responsibility for overseeing store operations at closing time.
• Maintain a commitment to high food safety and sanitation standards in accordance with federal, state, and local laws, as well as policies established by the company.
• Find ways to save money by efficiently utilizing supplies and properly maintaining equipment.
• Maintain the organization of the grocery backroom to optimize product rotation and increase associate productivity.
• Execute the company's signage program, oversee weekly merchandise allocations, manage seasonal product displays, replenish shelves, and coordinate the ordering of sale items.
• Create a supportive and secure space for customers and associates as the store prepares to close.

Qualifications and Experience of Store Supervisor:

• The minimum requirement includes a high school diploma, with a preference for some college background.
• Those with a background in grocery retail management spaing 2 to 4 years are desired.
• Skilled in building relationships, making decisions, sharing workload, overseeing a team, and addressing conflicts proactively.
• Skilled at adapting to flexible hours, which may include evenings.
