Responsibilities of Courier:

• Delivers speedy, effective, and personable customer service through displaying empathy, attentiveness, and patience in all customer interactions, emphasizing customers as the central focus within the store.
• Provides a welcoming atmosphere by smiling and addressing customers in a pleasant manner, whether located in the employee's designated section or other parts of the store.
• Makes a conscious attempt to learn and recall customers' names, employing this knowledge to address them personally.
• Works jointly with team members to ensure customer happiness and a comfortable work environment.
• Hands over merchandise to clients, takes payments, and offers change as required.
• Payments are refunded and the initial cash flow is restored to the store.
• Preserves the optimal temperature of food and groceries to comply with food safety guidelines and enhance customer satisfaction with the items.
• Follows department and company rules meticulously when it comes to personal hygiene and attire.
• Abides by the rules and regulations of the company and adheres to the specific store policies.

Qualifications of Courier:

• No particular educational background needed.
• A proper driver's license without any constraints from the Department of Transportation is a must
• The minimum age requirement for driving a company car is 18 years.
• Effective verbal and written communication expertise, coupled with solid interpersonal abilities
• Demonstrating proficiency in building rapport and interacting with individuals in a warm, professional manner, the capacity to pinpoint challenges, design and implement solutions, and the knack for comprehending and adhering to verbal or demonstrated instructions

Physical requirements of Courier:

• Include the ability to see detail at near range with or without correction
• Ability to perform medium work: occasionally lifting or carrying objects of no more than 50 pounds, with frequent standing, walking, and lifting/carrying of objects of no more than 25 pounds
• Ability to perform the following physical activities: stooping, kneeling, reaching, handling, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing and repetitive motions, and ability to enter and exit a delivery vehicle many times a day, traverse staircases and other rough terrain to reach delivery destination.

Working conditions of Courier:

• The job may involve being exposed to dust, noise levels, varying temperatures, damp environments, vibrations, and risks from moving equipment.
