Job Summary of Dairy Crew Member:

Maintaining pricing, stocking, and rotating items in the dairy area. A Dairy Crew Member is in charge of keeping the dairy department clean, organized, and well-stocked. This function include rotating products to maintain freshness, checking expiration dates, and discarding expired or damaged items.

Responsibilities of Dairy Crew Member:

• Assist in unloading the merchandise.
• Transport stock for storage to stock areas.
• Open cartons and price items (if needed) accurately.
• Keep store shelves fully stocked according to tag allocations.
• Assist in building store displays.
• Keep perishable merchandise rotated and pull out-of-code product as needed.
• Control level of damaged goods.
• Properly present assigned section prior to leaving at the end of scheduled work shift.
• Observe policies and procedures established for each department.
• Greet customers who come into the store and be observant.
• Maintain a neat appearance according to the company's dress code policy.
• Abid by all company policies as stated in the Employee Handbook.
• Maintenance of price and protection program.
• Housekeeping of sales and back room areas.

Qualifications of Dairy Crew Member:

• Proficiency in reading and writing is vital for accurately labeling merchandise, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring proper product rotation.
• Competency in transporting, unloading, and situating merchandise in specific areas.
• Required to lift items weighing 70 pounds for 40% of the working hours.
• Capability in comprehending and adhering to instructions presented either in writing or verbally.
