Job Summary of Produce Clerk:

This position is responsible for providing excellent guest service while ensuring high quality handling of fresh produce. The role includes performing processing, sanitation, safety, and stocking procedures to maintain freshness and presentation of fruits, vegetables, and other produce items.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Produce Clerk:

• Deliver exceptional customer service by assisting guests with produce selection and inquiries.
• Process, trim, and package fresh produce items according to company guidelines.
• Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards are met in all produce areas.
• Stock and rotate produce to maintain product quality and availability.
• Inspect produce for freshness and remove any damaged or expired items.
• Follow established food safety and handling procedures at all times.

Qualifications and Experience of Produce Clerk:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in produce, grocery, or retail operations is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle perishable goods safely.
