Job Summary of Customer Support Associate:

The role involves overseeing and guiding front end staff and operations.

Responsibilities of Customer Support Associate:

• Foster positive customer relationships by upholding top-tier customer service standards.
• Manage and plan the duties of front-end employees to guarantee the maintenance of superior customer service standards.
• Create and manage productive work schedules for front-end employees to limit customer inconvenience.
• Implement store policies regarding front-end operations and support store management in dealing with front-end employees who do not follow company rules and protocols.
• Distribute duties among cashiers in accordance with the guidelines set by store management.
• Provide instructional courses for both incoming and current employees.
• Aid cashiers in conducting price verifications.
• It is important to keep store management and the scan coordinator updated on any discrepancies in pricing.
• Aid patrons in managing exchanges for products, rectifying incorrect charges, and addressing billing discrepancies.
• Verify customer checks and ensure adherence to check cashing guidelines.
• Stick to a scheduled cleaning plan and ensure the front end is well maintained in terms of cleanliness.
• Maintain oversight and regulation of front end essentials like register paper and ribbons to promote efficiency
• Extend a warm greeting to clients and stay aware of the crowd in the establishment.
• Follow the guidelines set forth in the official company policies and procedures manual.
• Properly staff the Service Center and deliver appropriate training for the Acting Customer Service Supervisor position.

Qualifications of Customer Support Associate:

• Strong oral and written communication skills for dealing with customers, employees, and Vendors.
• Strong analytical and mathematics skills for conducting accurate audits.
• Must be knowledgeable in federal and state child labor laws regarding employment of individuals under the age of 18.
