Job Summary of Meat Associate:

Meat Associate are assigned the duty of ensuring the organized and well-stocked presentation of the pre-packaged meat section.Their responsibilities include ordering and unloading products, replenishing shelves, and setting up displays as needed. They are also required to keep their work area clean, adhere to safety protocols, and carry out additional assigned duties, including those related to meat preparation.It is important for meat clerks to be knowledgeable about store products and their placements to provide assistance to customers effectively.

Responsibilities of Meat Associate:

• Aid in the preparation, packaging, and labeling of meat items
• Arrange and restock meat showcases while ensuring visually appealing product presentations
• Accurately measure, price, and package meat products
• Keep products fresh by regularly changing them and discarding any expired items
• Keep the meat counters, tools, and equipment clean at all times to ensure proper sanitation standards are met
• Aid in the process of unloading and organizing meat shipments for storage
