Job Description:
- Candidates must possess one to three years of overall experience, with a requirement of at least one year in a pharmacy setting, including a minimum of three months of licensed pharmacist duties
- Ideal candidates will have a background that includes supervisory responsibilities
- The educational requirement for this job is a Bachelor's Degree
- Pharmacists must possess essential credentials like immunization certification, a valid CPR certification, licensing, and an NPI number as required for their practice
- Weight capacity: Carrying loads of up to 25 pounds
Job Responsibilities:
- Monitor and contribute to the secure and effective distribution of all patient orders by following all quality assurance policies and procedures.
- Exemplify top-notch patient care by respecting, engaging, and enthusiastically fulfilling all patient needs, including offering counseling and resolving issues promptly.
- Fulfill the obligations of a Pharmacist, which entail understanding, dispensing, and reissuing prescriptions for medications and durable medical equipment, examining the clinical components of the prescription, keeping patient profiles current, and confirming that patients are furnished with precise medications and durable medical equipment.
- Show dedication to following company protocols and legal requirements at state and federal levels by providing coaching and leading by example.
- Create a positive environment for both the team and patients by scheduling appointments thoughtfully, delegating tasks appropriately, and ensuring the smooth operation of equipment and supplies.
- Oversee inventory operations by monitoring daily reports, conducting physical inventory checks, and ensuring the proper management of medications and provisions to meet patient needs and enhance profitability.
- Work closely with the Supermarket team, comprising the Pharmacy District Leader, Corporate Pharmacy team, Store Leader, and Regional Business Leader, to maximize operational efficiency and increase profitability.
- Supervise, synchronize, and monitor the recruitment, education, advancement, evaluation, acknowledgment, and empowerment of staff to secure constant participation from team members and advancements in departmental functions.
- Keep the work area clean and sanitized in accordance with the stipulations of the company, as well as local, state, and federal mandates.
- Review and analyze the suitable service and business metrics to aid in creating action plans for better outcomes.
- Complete all essential audits and documentation
- Provide direct guidance, coaching, and feedback to team members, adhering to appropriate protocols and procedures.
- Cultivate a setting at work that is conducive to the positivity and satisfaction of the entire team.
- Provide immunizations and play an integral part in clinical services to maximize patient and company success.
- Support in mentoring and educating new team members in the Pharmacy Lead role to effectively lead and implement all company initiatives and programs.
- Stay up to date with the latest pharmaceutical industry developments, medications, and treatment approaches.
- Continue to enhance professional knowledge and service aptitude while promoting beneficial changes within the pharmacy sector to elevate patient care standards and organizational effectiveness.
- Cultivate professional rapport with external partners, including medical professionals and industry representatives.
- Execute tasks of a Pharmacy Technician as directed.
