Role and Responsibilities:

As a Grocery Store Clerk, you will serve as a vital link between departments, ensuring accurate receiving, storage, and movement of goods. You will uphold safety and quality standards while providing exceptional service to guests and supporting smooth operations.

• Unload received shipments, count and record items accurately, and stage them for stocking and storage.
• Operate powered pallet jacks and forklifts in compliance with OSHA and Whole Foods safety guidelines.
• Inspect new products to meet Whole Foods Market quality requirements.
• Verify quantities against shipping documents to ensure precise orders.
• Label products systematically for accurate recordkeeping.
• Organize storage areas for efficient use and maintain cleanliness by removing waste and recyclables.
• Load reusable waste and goods onto freight carriers.
• Complete all shipping documentation accurately.
• Maintain a safe, orderly, and hazard-free work environment.
• Adhere to OSHA safety standards and assigned docking procedures.
• Verify driver check-in and carrier paperwork.
• Perform cross-docking by transferring goods directly between trucks without long-term storage.
• Categorize items, distribute across pallets, and tag for efficient put-away.
• Rearrange items in designated areas for optimal storage.
• Provide attentive customer service to guests.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Warehouse experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Hourly pay from $15.00 to $26.00, based on experience.
