Role and Responsibilities:

The Grocery Deli Associate plays an important role in building customer loyalty by delivering excellent service in the deli department. Primary responsibilities include:

• Customer Service: Greet and assist customers warmly, thank them politely, and respond to their needs consistently.
• Product Knowledge: Provide recommendations and demonstrate expertise in deli offerings.
• Stocking & Rotation: Ensure freshness and proper date control by stocking and rotating products efficiently, minimizing waste, and managing costs.
• Equipment Operation: Safely use deli tools and equipment according to guidelines.
• Safety & Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area; report hazards or faulty equipment promptly to management.
• Reporting Issues: Notify management of theft, shoplifting, unauthorized discounts, property damage, or other policy violations.
• Other Duties: Complete additional tasks as assigned by management.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating effectively in English.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Authorization to work in the United States or eligibility to obtain it.
• Successful completion of background check and pre-employment drug screening.
