Role and Responsibilities:

Key tasks in this position involve managing the reception and placement of goods, promoting efficient product flow, and adhering to company policies and safety requirements.

• Carry out responsibilities associated with receiving and storing goods such as unloading shipments, verifying using RF technology, organizing products in assigned locations, overseeing cross-docking activities, and selecting flow-through items.
• Punctuality is essential at the workplace, so make sure to be timely, well-dressed, and prepared for all assigned shifts.
• Follow OSHA and Whole Foods policies when using a powered pallet jack or forklift.
• Strive to uphold a work environment that is safe, tidy, and well-maintained.
• Follow all safety regulations set forth by OSHA and the facility.
• Promptly report all accidents and injuries to the Team Leader or Facility Leadership as soon as they occur.
• Handle unloading tasks for truck shipments, validate information against bill of lading, input into the warehouse management system, and set up for storage staging.
• Conduct thorough checks on received products to ensure they meet the stipulated food safety regulations.
• Correctly mark the product for placement upon completion of verification.
• Conduct putaway operations as required and sustain the condition of all machinery associated with the position.
• Ensure the precise handling of receiving, staging, and selecting goods as they move through the system.
• Stage all cross-dock shipments appropriately after checking in.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of areas designated for receiving products, recyclables, and garbage.
• Transfer reusable resources and merchandise onto transportation trucks.
• Precisely execute all inbound paperwork tasks.
• Attend and actively engage in all team and facility meetings.

Compensation and Benefits:

• The pay scale ranges from $22.00 to $39.60 per hour, reflecting differences in experience.
