Role and Responsibilities:

As a Seafood Associate, you will increase customer confidence and loyalty by providing courteous and prompt service, maintaining consistent operating conditions, and fostering a friendly atmosphere in the seafood department. You will ensure products are fresh, properly stocked, and displayed in a clean and safe environment.

• Greet, assist, and thank customers in a prompt, courteous, and friendly manner.
• Offer product suggestions to enhance customer experience.
• Stock and rotate seafood products to ensure freshness and proper date control.
• Efficiently restock and use supply items to eliminate waste and maintain low supply costs.
• Operate seafood department equipment and tools safely and correctly.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and hazard-free work area; promptly report faulty equipment or safety hazards to management.
• Notify management immediately of team member theft, customer shoplifting, unauthorized markdowns, property defacement, or any illegal or policy-violating actions.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Authorization to work in the United States or ability to obtain such authorization.
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check.
• Compliance with all company policies and procedures.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to perform physical tasks related to stocking, rotating, and maintaining seafood displays.
