Role and Responsibilities:

In the role of Kitchen Assistant, you'll be tasked with preparing and displaying food items, monitoring the freshness of products in various sections like the cold case and hot bar, and aiding in upholding cleanliness and replenishing supplies. It is essential to uphold quality control, adherence to regulations, and exceptional customer service throughout your tasks.

• Utilize the provided production sheets to prepare and arrange food items for the cold case, freshly packed products, salads, and hot bar.
• Cook meals as per provided recipes to guarantee the quality and continuity of the final outcome.
• Ensure that all products are properly marked, dated, protected, monitored for freshness, and rotated as needed.
• Monitor the levels of food and refill supplies promptly when low.
• Be on time, well-presented, appropriately attired, and prepared for work hours; attend all necessary training sessions and meetings.
• Offer exceptional customer care by promptly and politely meeting customer needs and providing effective recommendations for additional purchases.
• Enhance sales potential by ensuring products are well-prepped, stored, rotated, stocked, and displayed appealingly.
• Abide by approved guidelines, including Weights and Measures, hygiene, and safe operational methods.
• Maintain a tidy, sanitized, and safe workspace and retail environment, including storage areas and coolers.
• Carry out opening, middle, and closing tasks as required, verifying the correctness of signage and pricing.
• Report any safety hazards or infractions without delay.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by store, regional, or national leaders.

• Hand functionality including gripping, precise handling, applying pressure, and moving objects.
• Physical movements such as bending, turning, lowering, and stretching.
• Exposure to FDA-approved cleaning agents.
• Ability to work in temperatures up to 90°F.
• Capability to function in varying levels of moisture and dryness.
• Willingness to work varied hours, including nights and weekends.
• Proficiency with tools and equipment such as knives, cutting tools, electric pallet movers, and heavy machinery; ladder use may be required.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Hourly wages ranging from $16.50 to $30.20, depending on experience.
