Role and Responsibilities:

As a Checker, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, processing sales accurately, and ensuring smooth front-end operations under the supervision of the Front End Supervisor.

• Provide outstanding customer service in line with company standards.
• Process sales quickly, accurately, and efficiently.
• Perform cash register operations with attention to accuracy and detail.
• Safeguard company assets while handling transactions.
• Maintain professionalism and a positive customer experience at all times.
• Work in a fast-paced grocery environment, bending, standing, and stooping for extended periods.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bilingual in Spanish/English with the ability to read and write both languages.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence and effectively present information in one-on-one and small group settings.
• Physical ability to regularly lift up to 25 pounds, frequently lift up to 45 pounds, and occasionally lift up to 60 pounds.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to follow detailed written or oral instructions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Basic PC and Outlook skills.
• Retail Management Certificate.
