Starbucks Coffee Associate

Company Overview:

Kroger is seeking a Starbucks Coffee Associate to provide outstanding customer service and support daily operations within our coffee shop. In this role, you will assist the coffee shop lead and department manager in achieving sales and profit goals, while ensuring quality assurance standards are consistently met. By creating a welcoming and engaging environment for customers and working closely with the deli department, you will contribute to an exceptional shopping experience. Role and Responsibilities:

As a Starbucks Coffee Associate, you will deliver high-quality service and help maintain smooth coffee shop operations. Responsibilities include:

• Enhance the customer experience by offering friendly and timely assistance
• Collaborate with the coffee shop lead and department manager to achieve sales and profit goals
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment following company policies
• Follow established quality control standards for beverages, food service, and customer experience
• Prepare and serve coffee, specialty drinks, and food items
• Work with the deli department and team members to ensure excellence in service delivery
• Stock and display merchandise to maintain product availability and presentation standards
• Communicate with customers, respond to questions, and provide product and menu guidance

Required Skills and Experience:

• Strong customer service skills and effective communication
• Adherence to company policies, safety standards, and quality guidelines
• Attention to detail while maintaining cleanliness and organization
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a fast-paced team environment
• Physical ability to stand, bend, and lift items as necessary

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in food service, retail, or coffee shop operations
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
• Proficiency in multiple languages is a plus
