Job Summary of Dairy Retail Manager:

Maintaining the Dairy Department's operations, the Dairy Retail Manager ensures quality products, freshness, and exceptional customer service are upheld. Tasks include supervising staff, managing inventory levels, ordering products, and implementing proper storage and rotation practices for waste reduction

Responsibilities of Dairy Retail Manager:

• Verify all deliveries against invoices, and note any shortages or overages and report them to the appropriate personnel.
• Responsible for price changes within the department.
• Maintain an acceptable inventory level by using proper ordering techniques.
• Properly rotate products to control freshness and remove out-of-code items.
• Maintenance of temporary price reduction of certain products.
• Communicate temperature failure of cases, shelves, and storage areas to manager in charge.
• Control damaged merchandise by calling in any damages and properly storing damages for sales representatives.
• Maintain good customer relations.
• Greet all customers to our store and be observant while working.
• Abid by all company policies as stated in the Employee Handbook.
• Transport products to storage areas, and to sales floor.
• Maintain shelves and cases to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications of Dairy Retail Manager:

• Proficient literacy is required for accurately tagging products, purchasing items, and managing inventory quantities.
• Aptitude for following written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Necessary to be able to raise up to fifty (50) pounds occasionally, comprising thirty percent (30%) of the workload.
