Job Summary of Key Holder:

This role plays a key part in managing store operations during closing hours to ensure a safe, clean, and well organized environment that supports an excellent customer experience. The Closer supports store leadership by maintaining compliance with food safety and sanitation standards, managing expenses, and overseeing backroom and merchandising activities.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Key Holder:

• Fulfill store management responsibilities at the end of the day.
• Uphold the highest levels of food safety and sanitation standards by following federal, state, and local regulations, along with company policies.
• Find methods to reduce expenses by optimizing the use of supplies and keeping equipment well-maintained.
• Maximize associate productivity and streamline product rotation by maintaining proper organization in the grocery backroom.
• Administer the company's sign program, oversee weekly merchandise allocations, handle seasonal product displays, replenish shelves, and manage the ordering of items on sale.
• Cultivate a pleasant and secure setting for customers and employees at the end of operating hours.

Qualifications and Experience of Key Holder:

• It is required to have a high school diploma and recommended to have completed additional education at the college level.
• Successful candidates will have accumulated 2 to 4 years of experience in grocery retail management.
• Proficient in interpersonal engagement, decision-making abilities, task delegation, leadership responsibilities, and conflict resolution techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings.
