In the Dining Services Clerk, your primary responsibility will be to deliver timely and courteous customer service by accurately and safely fulfilling and preparing customer requests. Responsibilities of Dining Services Clerk:

• Provide friendly customer service by greeting customers warmly and treating them as the most important people in the store.
• Assist customers by escorting them to products, securing items out of reach, and passing along suggestions or requests.
• Answer telephone calls promptly and take customer orders at the Market Grille counter.
• Work with team members to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain a pleasant work environment.
• Review daily orders and production lists to ensure adequate food supply and product freshness.
• Prepare and replenish products as needed, including pulling items from coolers or freezers for cooking.
• Check in product deliveries, store items properly, and review invoices as necessary.
• Operate department registers and process payments where applicable.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and remove trash in a timely manner.
• Follow department and company guidelines related to personal hygiene, dress, and safety.
• Report to work on schedule and adhere to store policies.
• Wash dishes as necessary.
• Order products and supplies as needed.
• Price products for customers when required.
• Deliver orders as needed.
• Assist in other store areas as assigned.
• Perform other job-related duties and special projects.

Qualifications of Dining Services Clerk:

• Capability to adhere to specific and straightforward directions and carry out basic arithmetic.
• Proficiency in comprehending spoken or written directives and conveying fundamental details.
• No education requirement
• Candidates with six months or fewer of relevant experience are desired.

Physical Requirements of Dining Services Clerk:

• Capable of occasionally lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds, frequently lifting 20-pound items, and constantly handling 10-pound loads.
• Visual needs comprise the ability to see up close and at a distance, distinguish depths, perceive colors accurately, and have a complete range of vision.
• Capability to engage in tasks such as ascending, maintaining equilibrium, bending, crouching, extending, being upright, moving on foot, exerting force, hauling, holding, communicating, listening, and carrying out recurring movements.

Working Conditions of Dining Services Clerk:

• Working in a retail setting with the demand to adhere to timelines and manage various tasks concurrently.
• Exposure to loud sounds, potential dangers from machinery, cleaning substances/solvents, the hazards of electric shock, and wide fluctuations in temperature.
