• Guiding customers in selecting nutritious meal options by preparing fresh and uncomplicated dishes
• Maintaining top-notch customer service standards and verifying the accurate preparation, packaging, and presentation of Deli products, all while upholding cleanliness protocols in the Deli department area
• Refurbishing, regulating, and altering items and showcases
• Putting together distinctive requests and designing catering arrangements
• Ensuring compliance with company standards and procedures when utilizing deli machinery such as meat and cheese slicers, ovens, microwaves, cutting tools, scales, and other necessary equipment
• The maintenance of a clean, secure, and hygienic deli area and equipment includes duties such as organizing shelves and products, maintaining spill-free floors, removing unsafe debris from the ground, and sweeping as needed
• Checking, evaluating, and documenting goods to confirm the correctness of dispatch, climate control, and caliber of products

Qualifications of Deli Counter Crew:

• The requirement is to be capable of remaining on feet continuously for a maximum of 4 hours and a total of 8 hours during one shift.
• Complete routine departmental cleaning duties, ensuring all surfaces are tidy and hygienic through sanitation.
• Monitor the slicer, wrapping, and cooking machinery; aid in the upkeep of all equipment to ensure they operate safely.
• Comply with safety, health, and Weights and Measures guidelines, and acquire and uphold a Food Handlers certification
• Have the capability to function effectively in varying temperature conditions, such as colder storage areas and freezer units.
