Job Summary:

The grocery building maintains an ambient temperature, while the perishable building is kept at 36 degrees year-round. This facility is responsible for selecting and distributing products to 76 company store locations. As a Warehouse Selector, you'll be responsible for the safe, accurate, and efficient selection of damage-free products, helping to fulfill store orders, meet delivery schedules, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ability to count and accurately select product by matching slot numbers and product descriptions using a voice-activated warehouse management system.
• Lift and carry cases up to 100 lbs from pick slots to pallets, including cases lifted from floor level, shoulder height, and overhead.
• Meet and maintain established productivity standards.
• Construct sturdy, balanced pallet loads from various sizes and weights of cases, ensuring damage-free shipping.
• Shrink-wrap and stage completed pallets in proper shipping lanes for loading.
• Communicate with supervisors about safety, equipment, damaged goods, and other issues.
• Maintain flexibility in scheduling, with availability for required shifts, overtime, and necessary adjustments to meet production needs.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety rules, including safe equipment operation and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
• Follow food safety procedures appropriately.
• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Experience Required: 0 to 6 months.
• Experience Desired: Electric pallet jack experience is a plus.
• Education Desired: No high school diploma required.
• Lifting Requirement: Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
• Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
