Job Summary of Retail Coordinator:

This role plays a key part in managing store operations during closing hours to ensure a safe, clean, and well organized environment that supports an excellent customer experience. The Closer supports store leadership by maintaining compliance with food safety and sanitation standards, managing expenses, and overseeing backroom and merchandising activities.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Retail Coordinator:

• Execute all closing shift duties related to store management.
• Ensure that food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met by adhering to federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies.
• Implement strategies to cut costs by efficiently managing supplies and maintaining equipment properly.
• Keep the grocery backroom organized and maintained to ensure efficient product rotation and enhance associate productivity.
• Maintain the company's signage program, handle weekly merchandising distributions, organize seasonal product rotations, replenish shelves, and coordinate the procurement of promotional items.
• Develop a conducive and sheltered space for both clients and staff members towards the end of the day.

Qualifications and Experience of Retail Coordinator:

• A high school diploma is a prerequisite, with a suggestion to have pursued some higher education.
• The ideal candidate will have spent 2 to 4 years managing grocery retail establishments.
• Capable in cultivating relationships, making informed judgments, allocating tasks, spearheading a team, and managing conflicts adeptly.
• Proficient in managing time to accommodate evening shifts.
