Job Summary of Bakery Team Member:

In the position of Bakery Team Member at ShopRite, responsibilities encompass packing products into display cases, rotating inventory to uphold freshness, and verifying the accuracy of signage within the department. Additionally, tasks include preparing trays to meet the standards set by the company and to align with customer preferences. All duties must be executed in adherence to regulations governing Bakery operations at the Local, State, and Federal levels.

Responsibilities of Bakery Team Member:

• Maintain a polite and kind demeanor when interacting with patrons, ensuring timely and proficient support.
• Support patrons in selecting from bakery offerings, placing custom cake orders, and seeking information about products.
• Adhere to set protocols for packaging, labeling, and pricing bakery goods as per company regulations.
• Sustain product freshness through the consistent rotation of stock and meticulous inspection of expiration dates and overall quality.
• Skillfully handle bakery equipment, including slicers, ovens, and mixers, with safety in mind.
