Job Summary of HVAC Systems Technician:

This role maintains, and repairs heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, independent initiative, and collaboration with team members to ensure optimal system performance and compliance with safety standards.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of HVAC Systems Technician:

• Perform the setup, examination, maintenance, and troubleshooting of HVAC systems for improved functionality.
• Make use of diagnostic methods to identify and address electrical and mechanical issues accurately.
• Execute systematic testing, calibration, and adjustment procedures to enhance system functionality.
• Manage accurate records detailing installations, repairs, components utilized, and labor hours.
• Collaborate with experienced technical professionals on complex undertakings and assist in the guidance of junior colleagues.
• Follow the EPA guidelines, adhere to safety procedures, and comply with the policies of the organization.
• Take on further responsibilities as designated by those in authority.

Qualifications and Experience of HVAC Systems Technician:

• A high school diploma or equivalent certification is obligatory, with formal HVAC/R training being advantageous.
• Applicants are expected to possess at least 3 to 5 years of experience in HVAC/R, with a preference for those who have accumulated 5 or more years of experience.
• Having a universal EPA certification is obligatory, and possessing a state journeyman license is advantageous.
• Mastery in utilizing HVAC diagnostic equipment, electrical and refrigeration mechanisms, and technical diagrams.
• Strong multitasking capabilities, effective communication skills, and adeptness in problem-solving.
• Showcasing an unmarred driving background and ability to be mobile for up to 50% of the duration.
