Job Summary of Retail Clerk:

The main responsibility of this role is to deliver a pleasant and efficient customer experience in a dynamic retail setting. Duties include handling transactions, restocking inventory, ensuring cleanliness, and supporting various store functions. The employee will receive training in multiple areas to assist the store team and maintain the store’s operational readiness.

Required tasks and duties for the position:

• Ensure guests feel welcomed with a friendly greeting and receive unparalleled customer service.
• Process transactions at the register with speed and accuracy, all while being friendly and approachable.
• Keep shelves, coolers, and freezers properly stocked to maintain product availability and inventory levels.
• Carry out the preparation of coffee and related products in adherence to food safety standards.
• Uphold a clean environment within the store, encompassing sales areas, food spaces, and restroom facilities.
• Thrive in an environment characterized by quick transformations and be willing to help teammates as necessary.
• Collaborate with team members on assigned tasks and follow directives from store leadership.
• Supporting day-to-day operations may involve working at nearby sites when needed.

Qualifications and Experience of Retail Clerk:

• Education qualifications not mandated; candidates with a GED or high school degree are favored.
• Experience in retail, food service, or guest service for a period of 3 to 6 months is desirable.
• While it is beneficial, having a ServSafe or food safety certification is not a prerequisite.
• Capable of effectively interacting with guests and team members in a customer-centric setting.
• Showing vigor, flexibility, and a team-focused mentality, in addition to possessing entry-level computer skills, can be advantageous.
