Job Summary of Pastry Clerk:

The job of a Pastry Clerk at ShopRite entails tasks such as organizing products in display cases, rotating inventory for freshness, and verifying the accuracy of signage in the department. Additionally, responsibilities include preparing trays to meet the Company's standards and customer expectations. All duties must be conducted in compliance with Bakery operation regulations at the Local, State, and Federal levels.

Responsibilities of Pastry Clerk:

• Engage with patrons in a courteous and pleasant manner, delivering prompt and effective assistance.
• Help customers with bakery choices, personalized cake designs, and inquiries about various products.
• Observe company criteria when packaging, labeling, and pricing bakery products to uphold quality standards.
• Safeguard product quality by adhering to stock rotation protocols and conducting meticulous assessments of expiration dates and product freshness.
• Safely and productively use bakery equipment, including slicers, ovens, and mixers.
