Job Summary of Retail Sales Merchandiser:

This position plays an important role in supporting local grocery stores by ensuring shelves are properly stocked, organized, and aligned with merchandising standards. The role involves traveling to assigned locations, setting up and maintaining displays, and ensuring products are presented to meet customer needs and store requirements.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Retail Sales Merchandiser:

• Visit designated grocery stores within the assigned territory to manage product displays and inventory.
• Set up new displays and reset existing ones according to planograms.
• Stock shelves, pack out grocery orders, and organize product areas.
• Maintain clean, orderly, and visually appealing store sections.
• Meet deadlines for assigned merchandising tasks and provide timely updates to supervisors.

Qualifications and Experience of Retail Sales Merchandiser:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers and store staff.
• Ability to follow written instructions and interpret planograms accurately.
• Reliable transportation to travel to and from stores within the territory.

Salary:

• $18 - $19 per hour.
