In the capacity of Pharmacy Specialist, you will play a crucial role in guiding a team of pharmacy professionals committed to providing exceptional service. This team will consistently exceed patients' needs by offering safe, precise, and efficient care to promote optimal outcomes for patients, team members, and the company.

Job Responsibilities:

• The role requires one to three years of experience, of which at least one year must be in pharmacy, with a mandatory three months of licensed pharmacist work
• Candidates with supervisory experience will be given preference
• Possession of a Bachelor's Degree is a must for this opportunity
• Proper certification or licensing is obligatory for pharmacists, with qualifications including immunization certification and licensure, a valid CPR certification, and possession of an NPI
• Weight limitation: Restricted to lifting no more than 25 pounds

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise and aid in the safe and efficient processing of all patient orders by following all quality assurance policies and procedures.
• Exhibit exceptional patient care by respecting, engaging, and zealously meeting or going above and beyond all patient needs, which includes counseling and solving problems.
• Undertake the duties of a Pharmacist, which consist of interpreting, fulfilling, and reordering prescriptions for medications and durable medical equipment, evaluating all clinical aspects of the prescription, keeping patient records current, and validating that patients are provided with accurate medications and durable medical equipment.
• Showcase strict conformity to company, state, and federal policies and regulations by guiding and setting an example.
• Enhance team productivity and patient satisfaction through meticulous scheduling, delegation of tasks, and efficient utilization of resources.
• Supervise inventory management by tracking daily reports, conducting physical inventory counts, and ensuring the appropriate handling of medications and supplies to meet patient demands and increase profitability.
• Collaborate with the entire Supermarket team, from the Pharmacy District Leader to the Corporate Pharmacy team, Store Leader, and Regional Business Leader, to drive efficiency and profitability.
• Direct, manage, and oversee the process of selecting, educating, developing, evaluating, appreciating, and empowering staff to ensure continual engagement of team members and enhancement of departmental services.
• Follow protocols to maintain a spotless and sterile work environment that complies with all levels of regulatory standards.
• Evaluate and analyze the pertinent service and business measures to help in crafting action plans for improved results.
• Conclude all required audits and paperwork
• Ensure proper supervision by giving direct guidance, coaching, and feedback to team members following the correct guidelines.
• Develop and manage a supportive work climate that enhances the overall experience for every team member.
• Administer vaccines and actively participate in clinical services to optimize patient health and company objectives.
• Help mentor and train new team members in the role of Pharmacy Lead to effectively oversee and implement all company initiatives and programs.
• Ensure you are knowledgeable and updated on recent drug discoveries, treatments, and progress in the pharmacy field.
• Maintain professional excellence and service expertise while advocating for positive shifts in the pharmacy arena to improve patient care and organizational performance.
• Maintain consistent professional rapport with external stakeholders, including medical assistants and industry representatives.
• Complete the functions of a Pharmacy Technician as instructed.
