Frozen Crew Member

Job Summary of Frozen Crew Member:

The role requires maintaining the pricing, stocking, and rotation of merchandise in the frozen food area.

Responsibilities of Frozen Crew Member:

• Assist in unburdening the cargo.
• Transport stock to designated storage locations for inventory management.
• Unseal cartons with precision and price items correctly.
• Follow tag allocations diligently to keep store shelves well supplied and organized at all times.
• Support in developing store display arrangements.
• Keep perishable products rotated and discard any out-of-date items as appropriate.
• Manage the amount of flawed products.
• Before leaving at the end of your scheduled work shift, ensure that the area you were responsible for is properly attended to.
• Abide by the rules and procedures designated for each department.
• Acknowledge clients who step into the establishment and be watchful.
• Uphold a tidy presentation in line with the organization's standards for attire.
• Observe and abide by the protocols specified in the Employee Handbook to uphold operational integrity.
• Implementation of a price preservation and protection program.
• Upkeep of sales and backroom areas.
• Support front-end operations as and when needed.

Qualifications of Frozen Crew Member:

• Ability to read and write to properly tag merchandise, maintain proper inventory level and ensure rotation of product.
• Ability to unload, transport, and place merchandise in specific areas.
• Ability to lift up to seventy (70) pounds at least forty percent (40%) of the time.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
