Responsibilities of Alcohol Sales Clerk:

• Keep an eye on patrons and confirm their age by checking ID cards to meet age verification requirements. Identify customers who are not suitable for further alcohol service and supervise to avoid any open containers being removed from the premises.
• Prohibit the sale of alcohol or tobacco to customers who are not of legal age or are visibly intoxicated.
• Show unwavering dedication to catering to customer needs through friendly interactions, including welcoming them, helping them out, showing appreciation, and suggesting relevant products as needed.
• Manage the arrangement and circulation of department goods for freshness maintenance and date regulation compliance, as well as optimize the usage of supplies for waste reduction and proficiently operate tools and machinery in the department.
• Utilize cashier machinery correctly, distinguishing between different types of payment and issuing accurate change when needed.
• Ensure that your work environment is neat, tidy, and secure, and inform supervisors of any malfunctioning machinery or risks for prompt attention.

Qualifications of Alcohol Sales Clerk:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• TIPS training required prior to position start date.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English, and follow instructions proficiently.
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check.
• Compliance with all company policies and procedures.
• High standard of integrity and reliability.
