Bakery Team Leader

Job Summary for Bakery Team Leader:

Take charge of the Bakery Department by managing Team Members, sourcing essential supplies, and implementing merchandising strategies to boost business development, fulfill customer expectations, and optimize financial gains.

Job Requirements:

• Ideal candidates should possess between 3 and 5 years of relevant experience
• Absence of prerequisite of a high school degree for admission to desired educational pursuit
• Weightlifting Standard: Required capacity to lift items of up to 100 pounds in mass
• The age stipulation is a minimum of 18 years

Job Responsibilities:

• Assume the Bakery Manager's role and execute all tasks during their absence.
• Skill in comprehending and following the guidelines specified in the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
• Provide products and services that meet or exceed the demands of both internal and external customers continually and follow the Company's Shared Intent, Objective and Directing Principles.
• Follow the prescribed company processes and regulations to eradicate out-of-stock situations, uphold product presentation, drive sales up, enhance customer satisfaction, maintain a safe workplace, and reduce instances of inventory shrinkage.
• Foster communication processes with different departments to devise marketing strategies that support the store's financial objectives.
• Oversee, assess, and manage the training sessions led by a trainer for staff in the department to decrease turnover rates, improve operational efficiency, and monitor labor expenses.
• Establish, oversee, and keep track of inventory records and operational processes to determine gross monthly profits following Company directives.
• Keep track of inventories by reviewing weekly records and purchasing raw materials and goods to meet customer demands effectively and optimize revenue.
• Demonstrating a commitment to working the required hours to get the job done.
• Occupied in a retail store where there is consistent engagement with the operations and instruments used in the bakery department.
