Job Summary of Night Grocery Supervisor:
The primary role entails supervising and organizing the operations and duties of the Night Grocery Supervisor and its team members to accomplish the Department's aims, such as boosting sales, profitability, enhancing Customer Experience, and fostering strong Associate Engagement, aligning with the direction provided by the General Store Manager.
Qualifications of Night Grocery Supervisor:

- Proficiency in handling fresh, dehydrated, or treated goods, seasonings, and powdered materials without adverse allergic reactions

- Ability to endure dust and cleaning products while performing everyday housekeeping chores without adverse reactions.
- Skilled in the task of climbing up a ladder to retrieve items from high storage locations.

- Proficiency in meeting all scheduled work commitments and abiding by attendance rules.

Responsibilities of Night Grocery Supervisor:
- Successful completion of the essential job responsibilities requires the Associate to attain the minimum qualifications specified above and carry out these tasks in alignment with all ShopRite Service Priorities (Safety, Friendliness, Presentation, and Efficiency).
- Adhere to all Company policies, programs, and legal requirements, including those related to environmental conservation, health, safety, and security.
- Fulfill all obligations in line with the Company's HAZCOM scheme and adhere to the manufacturer's specified label directions to safely and effectively use all chemical products.
- Comply with QA regulations to maintain a work environment that is clean, neat, and free from hazards.
- Concisely impart and unwaveringly ensure compliance with department and Company safety policies.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations while operating machinery and use Personal Protective Equipment as required.
- Ensure that all equipment is being used correctly by staff members, including Personal Protective Gear.
- Be knowledgeable about and adhere to emergency protocols. Maintain equipment in optimal condition and notify Store Management promptly about any equipment issues.
- Mandate that staff operating power apparatus (such as balers, forklifts, power jacks, cutting machinery, etc.) are of 18 years or above. Frequently lift, tug, shove, and revolve goods weighing 25 lbs., occasionally reaching up to 60 lbs. Unload shipments and transfer products to the Night Crew Department, managing items weighing 25 lbs., occasionally reaching up to 60 lbs. Establish and sustain a suitable cleaning schedule for the entire department. Promote a friendly atmosphere to enhance customer experience and engage associates effectively
- Comprehend and apply the relevant software and contemporary tools used in Night Crew Operations. Ensure that invoices accurately reflect the received goods.
- Maintain precise and complete records in line with Company policy. Check the quality of received items and ensure they are stored securely in the correct storage areas. Confirm the accuracy of item prices, item localization, and shelf allocation. Follow Company guidelines for reclaiming or returning products to stock.
- Comprehend the implications of department financials and possess the ability to modify department operations to meet set objectives effectively.
- Get familiar with and follow the Company's shrinkage guidelines for Night Crew Operations. Clearly communicate and consistently enforce departmental and Company policies and procedures. Maintain optimal staffing levels to meet anticipated sales and Customer Experience needs. Thoroughly complete all relevant departmental training sessions.
- Maintain a punctual and regular presence and be open to working extra hours as specified. Execute all tasks while abiding by the guidelines established by the Local, State, and Federal Department of Labor pertaining to employees under 18. Undertake any supplementary duties as instructed.
