As a Inventory Manager at Sprouts Farmers Market, your duties will involve supervising the upkeep, packaging, and stocking of all bulk food items presented in the store.

Responsibilities of Inventory Manager:

• In charge of implementing the merchandising Bulk blueprint, and ensuring that the team correctly packages and measures bulk items, restocks bulk containers, and accurately tags bulk parcels with visible information
• Keep track of inventory, regularly check for expiration dates, and adhere to the cleaning guidelines set by the company
• Supervise the department to guarantee compliance with safety, health, Weights & Measures, and COOL regulations established by the company and authorities
• Responsible for effectively communicating standards, expectations, policy modifications, and product awareness among team members
• Required to offer a superior level of customer support
• Keep the bulk section orderly and neat and ensure that bulk items are prepared, packaged, and presented correctly
• The task of receiving, unloading, and stocking merchandise should be completed as necessary throughout the day
• Involve in team member engagement and assessment through coaching, feedback provision, and one-to-one developmental conversations, and offer input on merit increase decisions by finalizing the biannual performance review process.
• Make it a habit to join and contribute during in-store meetings.
• Assist the Store Manager in making decisions related to recruiting, hiring, and promotions/transfers.
• Show confidence in independently addressing and resolving Team Member concerns.
• Execute corrective actions as necessary, working in conjunction with business and HR peers to address performance concerns by offering coaching, counseling, disciplinary actions, temporary suspension, or termination as needed.
• Boost efficiency and productivity by structuring and fine-tuning schedules and staffing levels.
• Share the requirements, expected results, alterations in policies, and understanding of products with team members.
• Head a collaborative team aiming to deliver superior product quality, excellent service, and a remarkable customer experience.
• Act as a Key Carrier for the store and perform the duties of a Manager on Duty when the situation calls for it.

Qualifications of Inventory Manager:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Have 1- 2 years of experience in a retail grocery environment and 1 year of managerial leadership experience
• Be dependable and reliable having the ability to work flexible schedule that changes; including night, weekends, and holidays
• Be expected to know weekly ad items; and be able to give customers direction of product location throughout the store; does general housekeeping in the department
• Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule that changes as the business changes, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Possess a working knowledge of personnel reports, margin reports, weekly sales numbers, and financial goals.
• Have and show outgoing and friendly behavior along with a positive attitude towards Team Members and customers.
• Be able to move vertically/horizontally transferring product weighing up to 50 lbs., from 4 to 36, for a distance up to 4 feet for up to 15 hours without mechanical assistance. This role requires continuous standing for up to 4 hours, for a total of 8 hours per shift
• Be able to perform other related duties as assigned
