As a Checkout Support Clerk, Provide prompt, efficient and friendly customer service. Packages purchases and assists customers with delivery to their mode of transportation.

Responsibilities of Checkout Support Clerk:

• Providing prompt, efficient and friendly customer service Greeting customers in a friendly manner
• Aiding patrons through guiding them, protecting goods, lifting or carrying weighty items, and carrying out various duties to enrich their shopping journey
• Collaborating with colleagues to function harmoniously as a unit with the goal of meeting customer needs
• Aiding shoppers with wrapping their bought goods and ensuring the cleanliness of the store
• Support in educating and guiding new Checkout Support Clerks through their onboarding process
• Bringing products closer to the edge of the shelf for better visibility
• Bringing carts in from parking lot Cleaning can redemption area and emptying recycle bins Stocking, facing, rotating merchandise, cleaning shelves
• Following personal hygiene and dress codes outlined by the department and company
• Complying with the policies set by the company and the individual protocols of each store
• Showing up promptly for work according to the schedule is essential

Qualifications of Checkout Support Clerk:

• No educational background or work experience is necessary.
• Proficiency in performing thorough but straightforward written or verbal guidelines
• Capacity to carry out straightforward addition and subtraction tasks
• Duplicating statistics, enumerating, and jotting down
• Capability to grasp and execute verbal or illustrated guidance effectively

Physical requirements of Checkout Support Clerk:

• Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally; exert up to 20 pounds of force frequently; and exert up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects
• One of the criteria is having clear eyesight, which must cover distances that extend from less than 20 inches to beyond 20 feet, regardless of whether visual aids are utilized.
