Job Summary of Cashier:

This position plays a vital role in creating positive shopping experiences by greeting guests, processing transactions accurately, and providing excellent customer service. The role ensures guests feel welcome, valued, and supported while maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Cashier:

• Engage with guests by providing friendly greetings and prompt assistance.
• Accurately scan items, process sales, and handle cash or electronic payments.
• Bag groceries carefully to protect products and enhance guest satisfaction.
• Stay informed on promotions and store programs to assist customers effectively.
• Maintain a neat and well - stocked register area.
• Communicate guest concerns to leadership to ensure quick resolution.
• Support store operations by performing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience of Cashier:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to handle cash, process transactions, and maintain accuracy.
• Capable of standing for long periods and lifting/moving merchandise as required.
• Flexibility to work varied schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
