As a Distribution Center Receiver, your role is pivotal in maintaining standards of accuracy, security, and efficiency in the receiving procedures that facilitate the smooth flow of goods through the supply chain.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Handle tasks concerning the intake and storage of goods, including unloading deliveries, verifying with RF scanners, organizing items in designated locations, overseeing cross-docking procedures, and picking flow-through inventory.
• Arrive at the workstation on schedule, in proper attire, and fully prepared for all scheduled shifts.
• Adhere to OSHA and Whole Foods standards when using a powered pallet jack or forklift.
• Maintain a secure, clean, and organized work environment.
• Follow all safety regulations set by OSHA and the facility.
• Immediately report any accidents or injuries to the Team Leader or Facility Leadership.
• Unload truck deliveries, verify against the bill of lading, input data into the warehouse management system, and prepare for storage placement.
• Inspect received products to ensure compliance with food safety standards.
• Properly tag products for storage following verification.
• Perform putaway duties and maintain all equipment associated with the role.
• Ensure precise handling of receiving, staging, and selecting products in flow.
• Organize and arrange cross-dock deliveries appropriately during check-in.
• Maintain unobstructed and organized areas for receiving products, recyclables, and trash.
• Load recyclable and other items onto trucks for transport.
• Accurately complete all inbound paperwork.
• Attend all team and facility meetings as required.

• Demonstrated reliability and accountability in task execution.
• Attention to detail and precision in paperwork handling.

Preferred Qualifications:

• One year of experience in receiving operations.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Hourly pay ranges from $22.00 to $39.60, depending on experience.
• Benefits include health insurance, retirement plans, store discounts, paid time off, and the opportunity to participate in additional benefit programs.
• Eligibility for Whole Benefits is determined by the plan in effect at the time of hire.
