Job Summary of Bakery Clerk:

Maintain and organize bakery products to ensure freshness, quality, and visual appeal. Provide friendly customer service while supporting the bakery department’s operations and overall store efficiency.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Bakery Clerk:

• Maintain proper inventory levels and monitor product freshness.
• Package baked goods, including cakes, following all handling and packaging procedures.
• Label bakery items accurately and display products on shelves.
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the bakery department.
• Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Assist with daily bakery tasks as needed to support team members and store operations.

Qualifications and Experience of Bakery Clerk:

• Previous retail or bakery experience preferred.
• Ability to follow detailed procedures for packaging and handling food products.
• Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
• Friendly, customer-focused communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks.
