Job Summary of Sales Associate:

This position plays a key role in maintaining organized, well-stocked sales areas and ensuring customers have access to fresh, high-quality merchandise. The individual will support inventory control, product rotation, and display restocking, contributing to overall store efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Sales Associate:

Rotate merchandise and follow proper product handling procedures to maintain freshness and quality.
Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and condition.
Unpack boxes and organize items for stocking in designated display areas.
Monitor and replenish merchandise on the sales floor to ensure product availability.
Relocate surplus inventory to backroom storage areas in accordance with Weis Markets guidelines.

Qualifications and Experience of Sales Associate:

Previous experience in a retail or grocery environment is preferred.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow inventory procedures.
Physical ability to lift, move, and stock merchandise as needed.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Team-oriented mindset with a customer-focused approach.
