Responsibilities consist of warmly greeting, assisting, and expressing gratitude to customers, suggesting products, and ensuring the freshness and proper arrangement of all produce items. Safely operating department equipment, maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in the workspace, and adhering to quality and safety guidelines are also integral aspects of the role. Responsibilities of Fresh Produce Associate:

• Sustain a focus on customer needs by promptly and politely greeting, aiding, and thanking them.
• Provide personalized product suggestions to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Preserve the quality and freshness of produce items by systematically rotating their stock
• Safely and effectively manage the operation of departmental tools and equipment.
• Keep the work environment free from safety hazards through cleanliness and orderliness.
• Promptly alert management of team member theft, customer shoplifting, unauthorized markdowns, property defacement, or any actions that are illegal or go against company regulations.
• Perform supplementary job duties when required.

Qualifications of Fresh Produce Associate:

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.
• Ability to understand and follow English instructions.
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check.
