Job Summary of Dairy Sales Associate:

A Dairy Sales Associate is entrusted with the responsibility of overseeing the pricing, stocking procedures, and presentation standards of merchandise within the dairy department. Their duties involve managing inventory levels, arranging products in an attractive manner, and ensuring accurate pricing. Moreover, they are required to maintain product freshness by implementing proper rotation, verifying expiration dates for precision, and eliminating any products that are expired or damaged.

Responsibilities of Dairy Sales Associate:

• Contribute to the unloading operations.
• Transfer stock for storage purposes to designated locations.
• Accurately tag products that have been unpacked.
• Keep track of tag allocations to effectively replenish and maintain store shelves.
• Aid in the development of store displays that draw in customers.
• Continuously rotate perishable merchandise and promptly remove expired items as required.
• Handle the level of flawed goods.
• Properly arrange the designated section before departing at the conclusion of the scheduled work shift.
• Abide by the policies and protocols set for different departments within the organization.
• Offer salutations to clients upon their arrival and remain alert to their presence.
• Follow the dress code regulations set forth by the organization to ensure a well-groomed look.
• Adhere to all rules and regulations outlined in the Employee Handbook.
• Price maintenance and preservation initiative.
• Ensuring order in sales and storage facilities.

Qualifications of Dairy Sales Associate:

• Ability to read and write to properly tag merchandise, maintain proper inventory level and ensure rotation of product.
• Ability to unload, transport, and place merchandise in specific areas.
• Ability to lift up to seventy (70) pounds at least forty percent (40%) of the time.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
