Responsibilities of Payment Processing Clerk:

• Demonstrate consistent commitment to fulfilling customer needs. Greet, assist, and thank customers in a timely, polite, and friendly way.
• Ensure that sales entries are precise through the proper utilization of the scanning system.
• Efficiently manage cashier equipment, recognizing various forms of tender and ensuring accurate change is given in a proficient manner.
• Present and maintain stock neatly at the storefront, ensuring an organized workspace.
• Remember to return the carts to the designated collection point for carts.
• Notify management about incidents involving theft by associates, shoplifting by customers, unauthorized markdowns, defacement of company property, or any other activities that are illegal or against company policies.
• Accomplish additional duties as mandated by the job role.
