Qualification of Store Support Associate:

• Capacity to engage in English communication, both in written and verbal forms, with the general public and fellow employees.
• Interpret simple guidelines, product specifications, cost labels, merchandise codes, shelf markers, short written messages, and memos within a business setting.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Deliver information in a concise and compelling manner during interactions with customers, clients, and fellow employees.
• Implement practical comprehension to fulfill thorough yet unintricate written or oral directives.
• The position involves regular lifting and/or moving of objects that are up to 25 pounds in weight, with frequent lifting and/or moving of items up to 45 pounds, and occasional lifting and/or moving of objects weighing up to 60 pounds.
• Basic PC/Outlook skills
• Retail Management Certificate

Responsibilities of Store Support Associate:

• Handle a designated retail space and replenish merchandise using the proper tools (excluding power machinery)
• Confirms accurate pricing for merchandise, checks product date codes to ensure proper rotation, organizes shelves, end displays, floor stacks, refrigerated, and frozen compartments.
• Readies perishable products for purchase based on need
• Constructs promotional exhibits to promote products
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitation levels in all parts of the store and parking lot according to the directives given by store management
• Assists customers by sharing the most recent store and product details in a friendly, knowledgeable, prompt, and polite manner
• Assisting customers with the loading of their items into their vehicles as needed
• Manages elementary bookkeeping duties, encompassing the documentation of missing or compromised goods and essential store resources with relevant instruments
