Job Summary of Bakery Cake Decorator:

The Bakery Cake Decorator is accountable for the enhancement of all requested cakes. Their duties encompass conceptualizing, adorning, and forming visually captivating and premium-quality cakes, pastries, as well as additional baked products based on the desires of the clientele and the standards set forth by the establishment. Within this capacity, responsibilities include readying frosting, fondant, and additional decorative resources, implementing innovative patterns, and ascertaining that the items are fresh, attractive, and set for either vending or retrieval

Responsibilities of Bakery Cake Decorator:

• Keep shelves looking tidy and properly supplied.
• Monitor product expiration dates through coding and conduct daily checks to eliminate items past their expiration.
• Ensure that all products are wrapped, packaged, and priced with precision and readability.
• Adhere to the routine cleanliness and disinfection measures set forth by the company policies.
• Preserve strong customer relationships by offering timely and respectful service to customers.
• Extend greetings to all patrons and stay aware of what is happening around you.
• The aim is to make sure that every cake order meets the customer's expectations and requirements.
• Adhere to the company policies laid out in the Employee Handbook.
• Receive and manage phone calls while assisting with personalized requests.
• Offer assistance with baking tasks when necessary.

Qualifications of Bakery Cake Decorator:

• Must have strong communication skills to provide adequate customer service.
• Must have dexterity in hands to wrap, package, and decorate products.
• Must be able to read and write to properly tag and price the products.
• Must have previous experience decorating cakes.
• Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds as needed.
