Role and Responsibilities:

As a Seafood Specialist, you will play a vital role in earning customer trust by providing friendly service, upholding department standards, and ensuring a clean, safe, and inviting shopping experience. Your responsibilities will include:

• Warmly greet, assist, and thank customers in a professional and courteous manner.
• Offer product suggestions to enhance the customer’s shopping experience.
• Stock and rotate seafood items to guarantee freshness and accurate date control.
• Use supplies responsibly to reduce waste and manage costs effectively.
• Safely and correctly operate department tools and equipment.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe workspace; promptly report equipment problems or safety concerns to management.
• Report theft, shoplifting, unauthorized markdowns, or other policy violations immediately to management.
• Carry out other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Authorization to work in the United States or eligibility to obtain authorization.
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Commitment to following all company policies and procedures.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities.
• Physical ability to perform tasks related to stocking, rotating, and maintaining seafood displays.
