Meat Stocker

Role and Responsibilities:

• Offer high-quality service and cuisine to customers in a timely and friendly manner.
• Stock, store, and organize goods in accordance with the company's prescribed methods.
• Follow prescribed recipes, safety standards, and policies when packaging, arranging, and exhibiting edibles.
• Execute required temperature verifications and monitor product quality to uphold freshness and safety standards.
• Maintain the neatness of sales areas, storage compartments, and refrigeration spots to ensure a safe and organized environment.
• Comply with health and company requirements for cleaning and sanitizing kitchenware and utensils.
• Properly manage signage, product rotation, freshness, and the allocation of space for merchandise.
• Properly manage the operation of production machinery and utilize cleaning solutions and sharp tools in a safe manner.
• Adhere to the company's cash register protocols.
• Collaborate effectively in a dynamic, busy setting and assist in team functions.

Requisite Competencies and Proficiency:

• Ability to work over weekends and on special occasions.
• Proficiency in communication, both written and spoken, for engaging with customers and coworkers.
• Talent for understanding and extracting relevant information from product labels, shelf tags, training resources, and bulletins.
• Adeptness in multitasking, prioritizing effectively, and contributing positively to team dynamics.
• Proficiency in the safe utilization of cleaning agents, sharp tools, and manufacturing machinery.
• Being proactive and accountable in completing assigned tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Applicants need to have completed high school or an equivalent program.
• Background in handling food or working in a retail grocery setting.
• Understanding the importance of food safety, cleanliness, and labor laws.
• Proven reputation for being dependable and ethical in the workplace.
• Skilled in providing customer service and adept at handling rapid interactions.
