Responsibilities of Produce Assistant:

• Ensure constant acknowledgment of customer needs through prompt, courteous greetings, assistance, and expressions of thanks.
• Recommend products to customers that align with their preferences and shopping habits.
• Rotate and replace produce items regularly to uphold their quality standards and ensure freshness
• Handle department equipment and tools safely and in an efficient manner.
• Ensure workplace safety by keeping the area clean, orderly, and hazard-free.
• Be proactive in reporting to management any cases of team member theft, customer shoplifting, unauthorized markdowns, defacement of company property, or any actions that are unlawful or not in compliance with company policies.
• Execute any other designated tasks as part of the job.

Qualifications of Produce Assistant:

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.
• Ability to understand and follow English instructions.
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check.
