Job Summary of Deli Assistant:

In your role as a Deli assistant, you will help customers have a great shopping experience by serving them, organizing merchandise, and keeping the store tidy and friendly. We want to make every meal extraordinary for our guests, and we are searching for a Deli Assistant who will be dedicated to helping us achieve this goal.

Responsibilities of Deli Assistant:

• Continuously deliver exceptional customer service to all guests, ensuring a positive experience:
• Communicating with our guests to learn about their preferences and necessities, enabling us to guide them in crafting their meal choices
• Maintaining awareness of the store's product selection and weekly sales promotions while assisting customers across different departments
• Promote a friendly shopping atmosphere by organizing and restocking our merchandise and specialty products throughout the day, as well as providing support to nearby shoppers
• Aid in keeping the store organized by collecting shopping carts and assisting with general housekeeping duties
• Adhering to The Fresh Market standards for the receipt and organization of inventory
• Cut and prepare different meats, cheeses, and convenient meal options in the department throughout the day, while focusing on maintaining the standard of the products
• Uphold a professional image by conforming to the specified uniform standards

Qualifications of Deli Assistant:

• 3 plus years of experience in retail, restaurant, or hospitality field
• 1 plus years of leadership experience
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Must be at least 18 years of age
