Pharmacists

Job Summary:

This role is responsible for supporting clinical pharmacy operations, including the preparation, dispensing, and packaging of medications for inpatient and outpatient use. The position requires attention to detail, adherence to safety and regulatory standards, and collaboration with healthcare teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of pharmaceutical services.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, dispense, and package medications in compliance with established protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Support clinical pharmacy activities by verifying medication orders and ensuring accuracy.
• Maintain proper storage, labeling, and inventory management of pharmaceutical products.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide safe and effective medication use.
• Participate in training and continuing education programs, including compliance with HIPAA privacy standards.
• Assist in maintaining documentation and reports related to pharmacy operations.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Required: Relevant pharmacy education and licensure as outlined in the class specification.
• Knowledge of medication dispensing, packaging, and clinical pharmacy procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment and collaborate with diverse teams.
• Strong communication skills and commitment to ethical practices.
• Experience in pharmacy services, hospital, or correctional healthcare settings is desirable.

Salary:

• Annual salary range between $12,432 and $14,801, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
