Facility Cleaner

Role and Responsibilities:

In this capacity, you will be tasked with performing dishwashing functions and upholding the overall cleanliness of the establishment in line with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) determined by the team and facility.

• Follow proper hygiene practices by washing, rinsing, and sanitizing dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and small tools.
• Make sure that all sterilized objects are stored correctly in their designated spaces.
• Keep the floors, drains, walls, and shelves in the dishwashing vicinity spotless and organized.
• Clean the dish room according to standard protocols by using hot water, hoses, cleansing agents, scouring pads, and brushes.
• Perform trash container emptying and liner replacement tasks as directed by facility authorities.
• Restock dish room essentials and notify the purchasing department of any items that are running low.
• Follow established cleaning routines, safety protocols, and sanitation schedules.
• Abide by the safety protocols for dealing with risky materials.
• Adhere to protocols that promote health, sanitation, and safe work practices in the workplace.
• Safeguard the proper functioning and upkeep of tools and machinery.
• Offer aid in managing urgent cleaning tasks within the facility when necessary.
• Immediately report to supervisors any hazards, policy violations, accidents, or injuries that arise.
• Accomplish the opening, mid-duty, and closing tasks, in addition to any specific projects assigned.

• Willingness to be available for work during non-typical hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Aptitude for adapting to different work environments, be it wet or dry conditions or extreme temperatures.
• Competent in the utilization of knives, box cutters, pallet jacks, and heavy machinery for various tasks.
• Capability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching.
• It is imperative to comply with the company's dress code, production kitchen regulations, and PPE guidelines.
• Agreement to employ FDA-authorized cleaning products.
• Ability to operate ladders as required.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Pay rates vary between $21.50 and $35.00 per hour, in accordance with the candidate's experience level.
