Job Summary of Junior Store Manager:
The Junior Store Manager is responsible for ensuring and fostering an exceptional shopping experience for customers, emphasizing customer service, sales growth, and profitability.They create an engaging atmosphere for all team members. The Junior Store Manager oversees the retail store and guarantees that it meets and upholds the operational standards established by the company and the store manager. Additionally, the Junior Store Manager trains, motivates, mentors, coaches, and develops store team members to ensure the delivery of top-tier store operations.The Junior Store Manager also ensures that all store team members adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as city, state, and federal regulations.
Responsibilities of Junior Store Manager:
- Provide support, coaching, and advancement opportunities to store employees in terms of their assignments, responsibilities, role prerequisites, and performance expectations
- Develop a protected and encouraging store environment that caters to the needs and comfort of both employees and customers
- Helps the store manager in arranging the weekly timetable for the team
- Takes charge of store activities when the store manager is unavailable, such as ensuring the store is opened and closed properly
- Executes and/or arranges building upkeep activities

- Delivers leadership that leads to the achievement of exceptional daily store conditions, covering obligatory daily operations in the produce, meat, and center store departments that strictly conform to the operational standards and initiatives of the company. Ensures the systematic implementation of Food Safety protocols, adherence to safety policies ?which includes operating power equipment safely, and the attainment of top-notch daily sanitation standards
- Responsible for overseeing essential store operation metrics, such as sales figures, customer traffic, staff efficiency, and inventory loss
- Evaluates, comprehends, and utilizes operational and financial data to inform and execute optimal business decisions when tasked with the store's management or supporting the store manager
- Tasked with executing the merchandising strategy by managing plan-o-grams, exhibits, price tags, shelf labels, and loyalty initiatives
- Upholds a premium standard of operation to provide customers with a positive shopping atmosphere, ensuring the store is tidy, well-organized, and customer-friendly
- Controls inventory levels according to the unique metrics of the store to secure quality, freshness, and efficient rotation protocols that meet the company's set standards
- Tasked with managing perishable product assortment and operations, ensuring stock availability, freshness standards adherence, and minimizing losses attributed to product wastage
- Required to decipher sales information and trends in order to uphold accurate inventory procedures and ordering practices
- Responsible for overseeing the enforcement and implementation of a wide array of regulations and instructions, including accounting protocols, cash supervision, inventory procedures, risk minimization strategies, payroll oversight, cleanliness protocols, food safety regulations, documentation practices, policy breaches management, and administrative obligations.
- Achieves certification in food safety that aligns with the policies of the company and the regulatory requirements of the city or state
- Offers ongoing help and aid to the store manager
- Completes supplementary assignments as needed
Qualification of Junior Store Manager:
- Participation is restricted to those who have reached 18 years of age
- A high school diploma or its alternative is a prerequisite
- Fundamental interaction with electronic technology and communications is a necessity for contemporary living
- Candidates must possess a background of managing teams for a period of at least two years
- Experience in leading and guiding staff members, combined with past exposure to organizing schedules, arranging product displays, and managing financial budgets and controlling expenses, is advantageous
